"I just wanted to tell you why Kaffe is so special to me.  He belonged to a dear friend of mine, who passed away when Kaffe was eight years old.  Her daughter took him in for a few months, but he just couldn't make the adjustment to family life, and she asked me if I could take him in. I didn't hesitate for a second to say Yes.  So you could say that Kaffe was my best friend's best friend before he became my best friend. He very quickly became the love of my life, and we recently celebrated our seventh anniversary together and his 15th birthday."

I don't know how long Kaffe will be with me, and I treasure every moment with him. ~Sandy
